三星诺基亚等国际品牌加强功能手机市场

元器件交易网讯 9月2日消息，据业内人士透露，当中国手机制造商正加大努力扩大智能手机市场份额时，国际品牌商，包括诺基亚和三星电子已加紧部署国内功能手机市场。

消息称，虽然智能手机的销量在国内市场的占比达到了80-90%，功能手机市场仍保留下来，但竞争相对较小，这将为手机厂商的发展提供充足的空间。国际厂商为提高其在中端机市场的地位，将主推100美元以下的手机以夺回市场份额。

诺基亚515

消息人士指出，诺基亚除了提供50美元以下价位的手机，还计划以40系列诺基亚515进入特定的中档机市场，售价在149美元。

诺基亚515手机配备了2.4英寸的QVGA显示屏，表面覆盖康宁第二代大猩猩玻璃，500万像素摄像头和USB端口，支持3.5G和单双SIM卡。

While China"s local handset makers have put all their efforts into grabbing a bigger slice of the smartphone market, international brands including Nokia and Samsung Electronics have strengthened their deployments in the local feature phone sector, according to industry sources.

While sales of smartphones have accounted for 80-90% of China"s handset market, the market for feature phones will remain but with less competition, offering ample room for handset vendors to develop, indicated the sources.

International players also aim to recapture market share by focusing on the sub-US$100 segment before enhancing their presence in the mid-range sector, said the sources.

Nokia, in addition to offering models priced below US$50, plans to move into the mid-range segment with its Series 40-based Nokia 515 for some designated markets at US$149, the sources noted.

The bar-type Nokia 515 will come with a 2.4-inch QVGA display enhanced by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 cover glass, a 5-megapixel camera and a USB port, supporting 3.5G and one- or dual-SIM cards.

Samsung, the leading smartphone as well as mobile phone vendor, still remains a strong contender in the feature phone sector, and is sure to compete neck-and-neck with Nokia in the segment in China, commented the sources.
